Our School Day

Our day starts with registration at 8.45am. Children can arrive on the playground from 8.40am. The Classrooms will be open at 8.45 am. Before this, there is the opportunity to join our Breakfast Club at Otters Den.

During the morning, our focus in each class is usually English and Maths with a 15 minute snack break and outdoor playtime at 10.50 a.m.

The children have an hour to eat lunch together and play outside and often there are pupil-run clubs to choose from (indoor or outdoor depending on the season).  

Afternoons include a wide range of learning opportunities:

each class has two sports sessions each week, our cross-curricular topics include Art, DT, Music, Science, History and Geography focused projects.

The day finishes at 3.15 pm and many children choose to stay on for one of our clubs or to go to after-school club at Otters Den where wrap-around care is provided.
