Brook Class

Brook Class is the home of our Reception and Year 1 pupils is situated in the main building along with River Class and is based in the newest classroom, built in 2003. 

Brook Class is named after Fiddington Brook, that runs through the centre of Combwich on its way to join the River Parrett.

Brook Class is taught  by Mrs Martha Eichler and Miss Bethany Mason (TA).

PE

Our PE days are Monday and Thursday (AM).

We ask that your child has their P.E. kit in school every day in case of timetable changes. Please can all clothing be clearly named. 

Homework

Children are expected to read at least 4 times at home during the week. Please could you write in the name of the book, pages read and sign this in your child’s reading log. I will be collecting the number of reads per week every Friday to monitor reading.

Spellings will be sent home every Friday to reinforce spelling patterns and strategies introduced throughout the week in Sounds Write (phonics) lessons. Please could you encourage your child to practise these at home.
