Mental Health and Wellbeing
Pupil and family wellbeing is of up-most importance to us at Otterhampton Primary School. We want to ensure that children and families feel supported with their emotional and mental health.
Please use the links below to find information, suggestions and routes to support, as well as activities that you could do at home with your child to encourage positive emotional and mental health .
If you have any concerns about your child's wellbeing, please talk with their teacher and they will be able to support you.
Wellbeing Activities
OPS Wellbeing Champions

We have 8 Wellbeing Champions who are pupils in various year groups. They have meetings and help champion well being across the school. These pupils volunteer for the role and are appointed each year by our Wellbeing Lead.
Our Champions model wellbeing through our 5 key ways to wellbeing:
- Give - Give or help others
- Be Active
- Take Notice
- Keep Learning - Learn something new
- Connect - with others
