The Local Environment
We think the local environment is very important and throughout the school year children explore the local surroundings to support their learning in school. We think that it is important that out children find out about their local environment, how it is in the present day and about people and local industries in the past. We are very proud to be part of the village of Combwich, and work hard to instil this sense of pride and belonging in our learners.
Through the use of our developing "Forest School" on site, the Steart Marshes development in the village and developing links with the Beach School offered by Somerset Wildlife trust, we aim to develop our pupils understanding and care of our local environment, whilst providing learning opportunities that develop skills beyond the classroom.
