Mental Health and Well-being
Mental Health and Wellbeing
Pupil and family wellbeing is of up-most importance to us at Otterhampton Primary School. We want to ensure that children and families feel supported with their emotional and mental health.
Please use the links below to find information, suggestions and routes to support, as well as activities that you could do at home with your child to encourage positive emotional and mental health .
If you have any concerns about your child's wellbeing, please talk with their teacher and they will be able to support you.
Wellbeing Activities
OPS Wellbeing Champions
Our Wellbeing Governor, Mrs Clare Wilson, is also part of the Wellbeing Action Group. Her role is based around Parental Involvement.
Pupil Participation is also vital in our Wellbeing Action Group to ensure the pupils' voices are heard and acted upon.
We have Wellbeing Champions for each year group. The children can apply for the role and the Wellbeing Action Group appoint the children democratically.
